Our family has benefited by the extraordinary talent of Dr James Doundoulakis for more than 20 years. I was referred to Dr Doundoulakis by a local dentist because of the more complex nature of my own dental work, involving both Invisalign and Lumineeers, caps and bridge work. Most important the original work has lasted the entire 20 year period, and is still perfectly placed. Not a week goes by that I do not get some compliment on how nice my teeth look. In addition to his ability and training, Dr Doundoulakis is very thorough in all his work, complimented by a competent and efficient staff. I can't recommend Dr Doundoulakis more highly; a very talented professional and simply a very nice person .

I've had a lot of dentists in my life. Some were good and some were bad. Of the good ones, some had great skill, some had wonderful and fun personalities, yet others had a soothing way about them. When I moved back to Connecticut not too long ago, finding a good prosthodontists was one of my top priorities. Someone told me about Dr. Doundoulakis. I am so grateful they did. Not only is he a wonderful, fun person and easy to talk to - he listens. His superb skill matches only his dedication to the work well done. He enjoys what he does, he takes pride in it. And - he makes it look easy. He was working on the preparations for my new crowns without an assistant the other day. I was impressed! I would recommend Dr. D to anyone, without reservations.

A longtime friend of mine recommended Dr. Doundoulakis to me and I'm so happy I went. He recently put two crowns on my front teeth and closed a large gap. Dr. Doundoulakis performed in a meticulous and professional manner what seemed to me a series of complex and delicate procedures. He's a real pro and he did a fantastic job! Now my teeth look absolutely stunning. I've gotten quite a few compliments from my friends, too. I also appreciated his humor and personal warmth, which put me at ease right away. His staff is very friendly and caring, too. I was really impressed with Dr. D and his team. It was well worth the time and effort I put in to travel from NYC to his office in Old Greenwich. I wouldn't normally say this about going to the dentist, but I'm really glad I did because I'm thoroughly happy with Dr. Doundoulakis' work!

Great practice

Any dentist can be a good dentist but it's takes a lot more to be really good. Professional and informative, and it's always good to be able to make informed decisions on complex issues. A great staff helps, too.

Ever since Dr. D became my dentist, I have not had to worry about getting the care I need for my teeth. He takes the time to evaluate my teeth carefully and has always does a good job for me - consistently, over many years. His staff is very nice and works diligently to make me feel comfortable and to do a good job. Since Dr. D moved the Old Greenwich, the distance is greater for me, but I'm making the trip. I believe, when something works, don't fix it.
